30-minute strategy call

Thirty minutes. One diagnosis. No pitch.

You tell me what's stuck — too few enquiries, too many that don't book, evenings lost to admin. I tell you exactly which one to fix first, and whether you need me to do it. If the answer is “you can fix this yourself in an afternoon,” I'll say so.

03 What people actually ask before booking

Hesitations, answered before you have to ask them.

These are the real questions I get in the hour before a call. If yours isn't here, hit reply to my confirmation email — I'll answer before we meet.

Is this a sales call dressed up as a "strategy" call?
No. The goal is to find the bottleneck, not force a sale. Some calls end with a simple fix you can handle yourself. Some turn into a sprint. Some get parked because the timing is wrong. There is no pressure to decide on the call. You will leave with a clear diagnosis either way.
Is the call free?
Yes. The 30-minute call is free. It is meant to help both of us understand what is actually holding the business back before we talk about any paid work.
What will I get out of the call?
You will leave knowing the most likely bottleneck in your business — visibility, booking, follow-up, or day-to-day operations — and the next best step to fix it. That may be a DIY fix, a deeper audit, a focused sprint, or waiting until the timing is better.
Do I need to prepare anything before the call?
Not much. If you have your website, Google Business Profile, booking page, or recent inquiry notes handy, bring them. If you do not have numbers, that is fine. We can still map the process and find where things may be leaking.
Do I need to give you access to my tools before the call?
No. You do not need to give access before the call. If we decide a deeper audit makes sense, I will ask for permission first and explain exactly what access is needed and why.
I'm not sure I'm ready. Should I wait until I have more data?
If you can describe the problem — “people ask questions but do not book,” “I am always texting clients,” or “I am not showing up well on Google” — you are ready enough for the call. The call helps figure out what to measure next. The only reason to wait is if you know you cannot act on anything for the next few months.
My business is small or I am a solo trainer. Is this still for me?
Yes. Solo and small dog training businesses are exactly who this is built for. The goal is not to add more systems for the sake of it. The goal is to find the one fix that gives you more time, more booked clients, or fewer manual tasks.
Will I have to make a decision on the call?
No. At the end of the call, you will usually have one of three options: fix it yourself, move into a deeper audit or sprint, or park it for later. You can take time to think. A rushed yes is not useful for either of us.
What happens after the call?
If there is a clear fit, I will send the recommended next step in writing. That may be a self-fix plan, a deeper audit, or a sprint proposal. If it is not the right time, I will tell you that too.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can reschedule from the confirmation email 24-48 hr before the call. No need to ask first. If something comes up the day of the call, just use the reschedule link or send a quick note.
What time zone are you in?
I work in Pacific Time (PST). The calendar will show my open slots in your local time so you can easily pick a time that works for your schedule.
